Craftspeople to Display Works at Monadnock Crafters Guild on December 4th

PETERBOROUGH, NH, December 01, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In the spirit of the Holiday season, as friends and family gather for fun activities and events, the Monadnock Crafters Guild - the newly founded crafters guild in Peterborough, will be hosting their first annual craft expo on December 4th from 9am until 3pm. With their grand opening occurring on Friday, December 3 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, people from across New England will join Guild members and independent crafters showcasing their materials as they explore the heart of the Monadnock Region.

Enjoy both the shopping experience of the craft expo and the displayed items for sale in the Guild's main gallery - where local artists will be on hand to answer questions about their work. The Monadnock Crafters Guild offers affordable gallery space for crafters and artists to showcase, market, and teach their art and crafts to the community, making it so people can afford to enjoy them.

In the coming months - as a non-profit, volunteer run organization - Monadnock Crafters Guild plans to offer exhibits, openings, lectures, workshops, classes and demonstrations. The mission is to foster an environment which encourages creative expression and nurtures new generations of craftspeople and artists who will carry on these "living traditions". The Guild will accomplish this mission by providing artists and crafters opportunities to share, show and demonstrate their creative talents and provide opportunities for continued learning and enrichment to the community - this December Craft Expo being only one of these events.
