Cartoonist Shocks the World with His Public Unveiling Online
Up-and-coming artist, Yu-San Moon, known for his reclusiveness, has unveiled some of his sometimes shocking, offensive and disturbing artwork to the general public.

MANCHESTER, NH, September 27, 2008 /New Hampshire News Articles/ -- Up and coming artist, Yu-San Moon, has finally unveiled his unique and sometimes shocking artwork to the public for the first time. Yu-San Moon has been privately creating offbeat and often crude, offensive cartoons in his spare time. Mr. Moon is usually very secretive about his artwork and ideas, but has finally decided to share some of his concept artwork with the general public.

One of the selected works of Mr. Moon include his recent cartoon, Carnieville, which is about a non-travelling group of carnival folk who have formed the first "Carnie"-only town, located somewhere in the Midwest. Other works include Karate Joe, which Mr. Moon claims to have been working on since 1990. Although "Karate Joe" is not finished, according to Mr. Moon, he says that one day it will be complete and released to the public. When asked about "Karate Joe", Mr. Moon responded,

"Back when I was in eighth grade, I used to get bored in social studies class and decided to amuse myself by drawing a comic strip about a guy named Karate Joe who battled a gang of stick-figure bad guys. I used to draw about one or two panels a day in my notebook and show them to a couple of my friends. My friends thought they were so horribly bad, like bad puns and jokes, that the cheese factor oozed to continue. By the end of the year I had almost a hundred panels complete. About a few years later, there was an incident involving a goat, an electric blanket and a little-person from Tijuana, that left the entire series destroyed in a flood. I have been trying to recapture that essence of cheese ever since."

Mr. Moon is also known for his antidisestablishmentarianism and some of his released works include what some would consider offensive material. Some of his works include drawings that mock religion, abortion, the government, and even Presidential candidate, Barack Obama. In his recently selected feature, "Pres. Barack Obama's Last Speech", Mr. Moon asks if Barack Obama is merely a pawn of the media by showing him giving a speech written by celebrity, Dave Chappelle. Some are finding this new cartoon offensive, others are finding it hilarious. After showing some of the artwork to some passetby's in the street, some responded, "That is horrible!", "What an atrocity!", and "How stupid!", while others responded, "That is the best thing I ever have seen!", "Yu-San Moon is the American version of Junko Mizuno", and "I haven't seen a shocking cartoon since South Park first came out and this takes the cake!" Although some people found the images disturbing or offensive, his artwork was generally well received by a majority of the pedestrians encountered on Elm Street in his home town of Manchester, NH.
