Ohio Online Pizza Ordering Company Ready to Go National
Zenospizza.com, which offers customers of independently owned pizzerias the chance to order from their own menus online, is set to go nationwide. The central Ohio company is hoping to attract 1,000 shops by year end.

/New Hampshire News Articles/ - GRANVILLE, OH, July 25, 2007 - Ordering pizza from your local pizzeria by logging onto the Internet could become a nationwide phenomenon, if an Ohio company has their way.

Patrick Quinn, President of Zeno's Pizza of Granville, OH announced today that he's taking his Internet gateway for online pizza ordering nationwide.

To use the Zeno's Pizza ordering system, customers visit the secure site, ZenosPizza.com, and type in their location information. After selecting carry-out or delivery options, Zeno's links them to the shop closest to them, or they can choose other area shops affiliated with Zeno's. The pizzeria's entire menu in the form of a shopping cart appears.

Customers then order and pay with a credit card on the Website. Other payment options are being planned, including a Zeno's Pizza Card. The pizza shop then receives a fax with the paid order within a 1 1/2 minutes, says Quinn. Customers pick up their order at their local pizzeria, or have it delivered if the local pizzeria offers delivery.

Zeno's Pizza currently has a handful of locally owned, independent pizza shops signed up in the central Ohio area, but Quinn says the regional company will soon undergo a major national expansion.

Earlier this month, the company engaged the firm of Sales Resource Group of Memphis, TN and Portland, OR to sign on small, independent pizzerias across the nation.

Sales Resource Group's 50-member sales team will act as the company's virtual sales department, said Quinn.

"We hope to attract 1,000 pizzerias to ZenosPizza.com within the year, and sign at least 1,000 new affiliates in each future year," he said. "This is the future of pizza ordering, and it's going give locally owned, independent pizza shops a great advantage in the marketplace."
