Travel Company Steps in to Help Travelers Caught Holding Travel Vouchers and Certificates from Defunct Company
There are thousands of consumers with travel certificates and vouchers issued by Mini Vacations, Inc. That company recently went out of business, so My Free Travel has voluntarily agreed to replace all certificates on request.

/New Hampshire News Articles/ - CHICAGO, IL, February 11, 2006 - Companies and individuals holding travel vouchers or certificates from the now defunct Mini Vacations, Inc. will be able to exchange those certificates for valid ones from My Free Travel it was announced today.

"My Free Travel is committed to on-going industry support and is pleased to announce that we will replace every existing MVI certificate with a similar certificate from My Free Travel," said Steven Horwitz, executive vice president of the company.

Mini Vacations, Inc., based in Tampa, Fla., went out of business and shut down their web site this past week. The company sold thousands of vacation and travel certificates to businesses that use them as sales incentives, promotions, marketing tools, and promotional giveaways.

"My Free Travel does not want any consumer or company that has purchased these certificates to be left out in the cold. We want to make sure that everyone involved can look at our industry and say that we do things right," said Horwitz.

"The vacation certificate industry has developed a bad reputation due to companies going out of business, leaving unfulfilled travel requests, and taking thousands of consumers deposits for vacations that they will never receive. My Free Travel is a leader, providing the fulfillment and actual administration of travel rather than being a marketing company. Our company prides itself on providing quality accommodations and travel to its customers," he explained.

He said that he hopes to ease the minds of discouraged company owners and managers by voluntarily stepping up to the plate to exchange thousands of vacation certificates. Companies or consumers interested in the exchange program should call My Free Travel toll-free at 800-219-4152 or at their website at http://www.MyFreeTravel.com.
